Jerry, You can run both Legacy 7.5 and Legacy 8 at the same time no problem. They install into different directories and they don't interfere with each other. Having said that, you can't share files between the two. You can open Legacy 7 files in 8 but you can't open Legacy 8 files in 7. You will have to create a gedcom in Legacy 8 and then import that into 7.
