Hi Mary Lou, The only way to know whether there was detail for the other 1,000 people would be to check the original FTM file. If the detail was in the Gedcom, it would probably have been imported but you could check the Gedcom as well.
If you don't know, a Gedcom is a specially formatted text file so can be opened in any text editor like Notepad and searched like any text file.
