What you might want to enter rather depends on exactly what you mean.  You could put "1960-1969", but to me that implies an ongoing process taking place during all that time.   You could put "abt 1965" but you might feel that implies 1964-1966 rather than a wider time period.  You could put "after 1959" or "before 1970" but that might suggest a wider time period option.

The simple way is just to tell Legacy to ignore that particular problem by right-clicking the problem icon and selecting "Check for valid dates" on the Problems tab.
