that is why I was wondering what "change the data in the field" and > "remove the index" referred to. > Is that something I could do or is it too technical?
It's the sort of thing you would do in Access but SHOULD DEFINITELY NOT DO. Is there any possibility that you are trying to rename a picture to the same name as another? I think the two "suggestions" you quote would be compatible with that situation. > I know where the picture is that caused the problem and wonder if deleting > the picture > would help or hinder the problem. I'm sure it would only help. I would unlink the photo from the various people, rename it outside of Legacy and then re-link it. That should sort it! -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
