Subject: [LegacyUG] copy and paste -- what's up

I've been accustomed to copying the census abstracts listing family members etc
from the censuses on Heritage Quest, FamilySearch, etc., directly into the
notes boxes in events in Legacy.
But now suddenly I'm not copying just what is seen but a lot of gobblydook as
well.  I've been solving the problem by copying it into my word processor as
unformatted text and then copying it into Legacy. The extra step is a minor bit
of nuisance.  But why is this happening?  I don't think the problem could be
with Legacy since I hadn't updated before this began occurring.  But could I
have inadvertently changed some setting within Legacy??
I know little about computers, but I do have a new one, with Windows 10 OS. and
I'm Using a new browser -- MS Edge instead of Chrome.
I hope the problem is with Legacy and that all I need to do is to change some
setting.  Any help greatly appreciated!!
Pat
