In the meantime you can use Search and Replace on both Lists-Location
and Lists - Location Short.

Just make sure your search and replace terms do what you expect before
you click Replace all. You don't want "sa" in the middle of words turned
into South Australia ;-)

", SA," to ", South Australia," is a safer option.
Also make sure you're not replacing the whole field.

Yes you have to do it for every state in your database but it's quicker
than doing them location by location.
