Are you setting up one Master Source for each Parish Register - for example, one for St Blogg's Register of Baptisms, one for St Blogg's Register of Marriages, one for St Blow's Register of Burials, etc? What you say above rather suggests that you are creating a whole new Source every time. If you have one Master Source to use it for Person A's Event with Source Details which are specific to that instance. You then use the Source Clipboard to copy the whole thing to any other people and/or Events, possibly making minor changes to the Source Details for Person B's or Person C's Events. When you have pasted from the Source Clipboard as often as you need to, you open a new Master Source, create the first Source Detail to go with that and when you Copy to the Source Clipboard the existing Source & Detail will be replaced. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
