Are you talking about the Geo location Database that is used with Legacy
or something else?

If the Geo Database, then it is part of Legacy. It's just installed
separately.

Some people love it and don't enter a location without consulting it.

I don't even have it installed. Whether it's useful really depends on
where you mainly research in the world AND how good you are at adapting
it. I prefer to research and map every location myself.
