When you hover over the Potential Problems Indicator, one of the options is to change settings. Do the shift-right-click as instructed and deselect the Standardization option for "Surnames entered in all uppercase".
Uppercase surnames is no longer the genealogy standard. If you want them in uppercase in reports and web pages, you need to select that option on the "Other" tab in Web Page Creation and "Format" tab in Report Options.
