It seems that I can add all sorts of "special" characters to Event
Notes, which is very useful when one is often wanted to quote from
foreign language or historical publications. But I also often quote
from newspaper articles and advertisements which frequently incorporate
an em-dash (alt+0151) and although this will appear correctly in the
first instance (whether adding from the Special Characters ribbon or
pasting OCR text) as soon as the Event is saved it reverts to '97 and
appears thus in Reports.
Must I resign myself to changing all em-dashes to en-dashes?
