After my careful description, I discovered the fix by re-reading some Help: the Refresh button in the Tree Finder (View ribbon) made "Wilson" disappear and it discovered a few 1-person "trees" that I need to clean up. I thought that backup and other exit clean-ups would have kept this list up-to-date.
