These are all in the one Family file?
Just link them into the right place again. When you go to add a person
in Legacy there is always the choice to link to existing.
When done go to View - Trees and click Refresh and you should discover
that this island has disappeared. Note you have to click Refresh as
Trees does not Refresh automatically (takes too much time if it's not
what you need at that moment).
But I'm not clear if you actually mean that they are in separate Family
Files. That's a different issue. If that's what you mean email again.

from my “Main” Tree, and require re-entry of those 20 persons; but I
would like to remove the “Wilson” Tree for tidiness. Is there another
solution?
The other small Trees of 6 and 22 members arose when I split off false
branches on my “Main”, having determined that they were unrelated.
These 2 Trees could be deleted, but are of interest and could be put
into separate “projects” (Legacy Family file databases, .fdb). Not a
problem.
