Leonard, I tried the chat but the operator can’t check the catalogue. I
understand about magazines/newspapers and inter-library load – damage control –
and it’s a 1954 edition I want to see.

I will talk to VU by phone, and also see what my local suburban library can do
– a photocopy of 3 pages would be a good result for me.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Rarely does a library send out periodicals on interlibrary loan. What they
usually do is send a photo copy of the pages instead.

Wonder if any libraries have it as a digital magazine?

This is off-topic, but can anyone give me an idea of where to search through
“John Bull” newspaper or illustrated magazine? I’m looking for an article in
the 3 July 1954 issue. It would be an English publication, though the article
is about Australia.

According to Worldcat, this publication is available at the Australian War
Memorial and Univ of Victoria. Does Australia have interlibrary loan?
