I have quite a lot of entries where the source is the FreeBMD database:

Here is an entry

Births Dec 1885 (>99%)
Hayes Elsie Dora Axbridge 5c 519

When I use Sourcewriter, and choose "generic source" and "online database"

the detail field asks for "Item of Interest", and there I would put "Hayes,
Elsie Dora"

when not using SourceWriter, what I would put in the Detail field is:

Axbridge Births, Dec Qtr 1885, Vol 5c, p 519

I find the term "credit line" confusing, and I'm not sure what to put there,
but there is nowhere else to put that information when using SourceWriter, so
I've avoided using SourceWriter for that source.

"Credit Line" suggests that the information in the field should be "GRO
Indexes", which is where the information in the database came from, but that
applies to every record in the database, and not just this one. And if one
puts that in the "Credit Line" field, there is nowhere else to put the actual
details.
