Hi Billy

1.. Identify the set of parent and children where they should be another
generation between them.
2.. For the Children, Right click on them and take Unlink / From Parents.
3.. You now have two, or more, separate trees – one above and one or more
below.
4.. From the parents, add the new generation.
5.. From the new generation parents, select Link to an existing son or
daughter and then locate one of the unlinked children. Repeat for each of the
unlinked children.
6.. You now have the tree rejoined.

Regards

Chris

Good morning

I am a novice Legacy user so bear with my inexperience. I have managed to build
up a 50 generation family tree over the past months but have missed 1
generation in the middle of the tree. Is there any easy way of inserting the
couple I have missed-I am trying to avoid re typing half the family tree again
? Regards Billy Nyhan Cork Ireland
