I am also a proud army vet. In my case it was the Canadian Army/Canadian
Forces for 33 years. But I do not consider myself an old non-computer
guy. Much of my career was spent on computer/information systems design.
I bought my first Atari 400 in the 1970's. I was an Atari guy from then
until I converted to the PC in 1990. I had just been posted to our
headquarters and had a PC on my desk so I went out and bought one for
home use as well.

Hey, there, Brian! It is because of all us "old non-computer type guy"

from all the research and development that went on since WW11 when the
first machines were developed by the ARMY ! We have kept it alive all
those years.

Brian, Does this have to be done on a CD or can you create this same
type of
program on a USB Stick too?
This coming from a old non-computer type guy (grin)

Internet Item on the Legacy ribbon. Pedigree style is an option there.
Follow the prompts and make use of the screen help buttons as you go
through
the process if you have questions.

One way would be to create web pages from your family file. Pedigree
style pages can include everyone in your file.
Copy the Web page and media files to a CD and your relatives can
open the web pages from the CD in their internet browser. Your web
page files will be in your Documents\Legacy Family Tree\Web\(Project
name you assign on the Web page screen). There will be a sub folder
of that folder containing copies of the picture files.
Tell your relatives to open the Index.htm file on the CD. That is
the start file for the web pages.

I am new to Legacy and wonder is it possible or even how do I
make a cd to share with relatives instead of printing our tree

Appreciate any ideas..
