Thomas, are you attempting to add photos using the Picture Center? What happens if you click on the photo Icon when you are in the Family View? It looks like a photo and is found below the persons Vitals information in Family View. Clicking on this Photo Icon should open up the Media gallery for the person you have highlighted in the Family View. While in the Media gallery, click on ‘Add Media’ to get a drop down menu with choices of different files you can add to the persons gallery. Click on Picture, then browse to the folder where you’ve stored your photos. Click on the photo you want to attach and follow the prompts. Try this and see if this allows you to attach photos to each person. You will need to know the name of the folder where you are storing your photos so you can work your way to it. Here is my problem. I used a Gedcom data transfer from another genealogy program that is no longer in business. Included on that program were a number of family/ancestor pictures that I wished to retrieve and include in my Legacy program. I believe I followed the instructions contained in the User Manual to add pictures but when I open the "add media" button the information in the "Sample" program appears and I cannot seem to get past that screen to work on my own project. Initially I had some success in acquiring several pictures through a feature I "stumbled" on that allowed the program to search for pictures stored on my computer but now I cannot get back to that search feature because of the inability to get past the "sample" screen mentioned above. I am obviously missing a important step or two and am looking for help. What am I doing wrong? Thomas Cox
