Look carefully at how and to whom that problem person is linked. Does
he/she have multiple connections to their parents? What about multiple
marriages to the same husband with different children assigned to each
or an extra marriage to unknown with some children that should be linked
to the real husband?
Those are a few of the reasons why you cannot correctly navigate in the
family view.

program pulls up a child of that person instead of the mother whose file
