Did that, plus re-install program, still getting error messages. Would do 
check/repair but can't due to error screens and the program shuts down. Trying 
to do a work around, but reflexes too slow.

Close Legacy, and open it again. That might be all you need to do, but

should be gone after a merge in Legacy will stay active, but get removed
