Hi Roxanne, since no has offered any help to your problem here is what I'd try doing.
If your old computer is still working and providing that you have been backing up your media files on your old computer then just copy your old media files to a USB stick or burn them to a disk or copy them to a portable hard drive than transfer them into your new computer. If the hard drive has crashed than take it to a computer repair shop and see if they can recover those media files, sometimes they can retrieve files off a crashed drive. Make sure that the media files that you transfer are the last updated media files.
