Another thought. Have you uninstalled Internet Explorer on your computer or 
blocked it in your firewall? The Legacy Home tab uses a form of Internet 
Explorer

I don't recall ever seeing this error myself. However I'm aware that a minority 
of people do and it can be a persistent problem.

I also get this error. Been getting it for a long time - at least two 
years. Reported to the Legacy support group that the solution to the 
problem they suggested did not work, but they were not able to resolve 
the problem for me. So, I just live with it. I was hoping the matter 
would be resolved with Version 9, but it was not. I would be 
interested in knowing how many other Legacy users have this problem.

My understanding is it is a VBA error message. I have Version 9 running on

two Windows 10, 64 bit computers using the same genealogy database. I get

the error on one computer but not on the other.
