Ian You have probably had all the suggestions you need, but within the Legacy Help you might search for Zoom – there is a link on one of the pages to a broader Help, called “Legacy and the visually impaired”. It may be helpful. Ian Thomas Albert Park, Victoria 3206 Australia

I tried changing the fonts but it crumpled the words because I can't enlarge the main page enough , So I did knock it up from 6 to 10. I tried changing the color and that will do the trick except that I only managed to change a bunch of colors and not just the ones that I need. So I am going to try again tomorrow, Its the Red letters in the search list that are causing me grief, When I managed to change them all to dark blue it became readable but The Female and Male were not separated. I may just have to get bigger screens, and a bigger desk to hold them, and ...... Go to Options - Customise - Fonts 10.1 and increase the minimum size from default 6. You can increase to 14. I use 10. How it looks depends a bit on your screen resolution. Also note that on many screens there is a Zoom button. Sometimes it's under the Options button. This allows you to increase the font size for that particular screen up to size 20. If the lines of Index view (and some other grid type displays) overlap when you've increased the Font size in Options - Customise, click the Options button then Zoom and change off automatic to another font size and save. Then return and reset to Automatic and it should be fine. Cathy Brian Kelly wrote: There are two settings you may want to look at. 1. Ancestor Colours can be applied to search and name lists, this adds colours to the backgrounds of the list. 2. The colours used by the Genders are applied to the colours of the text. To change the Gender Colours Options > Change colours Right click on anyone's name Female Name text is the red one so you will want to change that colour by clicking on the set text colour button. The Ancestor colour coding options and the views where they are used are controlled by Options > Customize Section 8.3. To remove them from search lists turn off the colours in name lists. To change the colours used click the Change colours button.
