I do not use stories in my file but there is a search you can use to find individuals who have a story.
Search > Find > Detailed Search tab
Look for Individual, Where to look Story-Story, How to look Not Equal to, What to look for leave this blank.

Unlike Events stories do not use a Master list of Story Titles so there is no standardization between the titles used for different people. A story about the movement of a family to a new place might be given a title of "Migration" for one person and "Moving House" for another.

If you do standardize your story titles the search could be used to look for Story-Title to see who a story with one of your titles but there is no search that will give you a list of all the titles you have used.

I feel so silly. I've been a Legacy user since about 2000, or so. I just now found stories! What a delightful find!

The only problem is that you cannot, apparently, look at a Master List of Stories. If it does exist, I can't figure it out.

The help file on the 'Story List' (HFID: 0018: 61111) actually is not a Master List, since it is a list of stories for the current individual only.

I'm okay with a functional work around, if anyone knows. I used to use Events for something like a Story and would Share those with other individuals. I remember the light-hearted list debate on the topic of "but that's not an event" situation. Stories was obviously added after that, but I never noticed. lol!

Should I go back to Events for stories so I can have a makeshift Master list? Any other ideas? I'd really like to keep stories under Stories but if not, I can make a change.

Thanks to anyone that can help!
