I have a husband and wife that were married in the mid 1700's. They had a total of eight children. A recent find was wills for both. The issue is that the transcriptions indicate that two children were possibly born before the marriage. Specifically, it suggests that both the husband and the wife had at a children before there were married. No previous marriage has been found or indicated. I believe this could be shown if I record both with a previous marriage to "unknown" individuals. I am also thinking about leaving the name empty. I am getting confused with the various options. Is there a way to indicate a previous marriage, without using a individual's name? Any suggestion would be helpful.
