Thank you for your reply Jenny. Forums I have used in the past had a website where you asked questions, got replies, and read others. This emailing for answers is new to me, but I'll keep open-minded and see how it goes.
Here's my question... My son was single, living common-law, when she conceived. They separated before the child was born. The child took the mother's last name. My son financially raised the child, who is now a teenager. He calls my son 'dad', and they do many things together. My son has since married a different person, and they have 2 children. My question....how do I list the boy born out of wedlock? Please take me by the hand with this, as I have only had Legacy for a week, so don't know the nuances of the program (and I'm 77..an old dude. Lol). BTW...I don't use a cell phone, or facebook, or twitter, or any of those other chatty type things. Appreciated. -----Original Message----- From: LegacyUserGroup <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Jenny M Benson Sent: Thursday, August 08, 2019 6:07 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Help On 08-Aug-19 10:52 AM, Jim wrote: > I'm not sure what I'm doing. > > I am new to Legacy, am entering family information, and have a > question about how to enter a particular person. > > Isn't there a forum where, not only can I get my question answered, > but I can read other people's situations and learn from them????? > > If no forum particular to Legacy, perhaps there is a forum used by all?
