Do you mean you are using Legacy 7.5? There wasn't an 8.5
Is this just one event that has lost the location or all events? That
sounds very peculiar.
How are you checking whether Events have locations entered. I'm
wondering whether you are using one of the reports and the locations
have been left out or whether they appear to be missing on a particular
screen in Legacy.
In what way(s) are you cleaning up your data?

I apparently did something to eliminate the location for the events in
the individual's screen. The Master List for Locations is still
intact, but naturally doesn't have any one using that location.
I'm still using Legacy 8.5, and changed very little, if anything, from
the default settings. But in an attempt to "clean up" my data before
ordering Legacy 9, I have changed something.
