Hi Joseph, My Legacy file is 1.4GB in size with over 487,000 individuals. I have the latest Win10 updates. I have no issues. But, I do have a high end computer with 16GB of memory.
I don't believe the problem is a Legacy issue. Look to your hardware, particularly the amount of memory, and other programs that you may have open at the same time. My problem is going to be the size of my file. Access, the basis of Legacy, only allows file sizes up to 2GB. So far Legacy has everything in one file. I'm hoping they will change that soon to have more than one file as Access can handle numerous files up to the 2GB limit for each. My file is about 625 MB, so it's not over 1 GB. I'm starting to catch on that this problem is maybe not so unexpected now, even for a file somewhat smaller than a gigabyte in size. It would be nice to know if more can be found about this issue. The Legacy program was working fine before this latest Windows 10 version update. Joseph Leavitt On 12/5/2019 2:59 PM, Loren L.
