If you turn off all running programs and then RIGHT click the installation file and select Run as Administrator this will stop 99% of the problems. If you update through the program itself (Legacy home tab) all you need to do is make sure that all running programs are off.
Turning off all other programs avoids the DLL conflict issue. Bear in mind that what you are seeing here are posts from the *very few* who have had problems compared to the hundreds (thousands probably) who have updated without issues and are getting on with their lives. -- Jenny M Benson - http://jennygenes.blogspot.co.uk/ Wrexham, UK -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/
