In report options for that descendant report (and any other book style
report you use). Click the Event options button after selecting which
events to include.
On the Event Options screen make sure there is a check box in the Add
Event Notes and also in the Add shared event notes if applicable.
If you have those options turned on and the notes still do not show then
you will have to check each event for the person and verify that on the
event screen there is a check box in the Add the event notes to the
sentence.
also go to View > Master Lists > Event Definition and check that the
events causing your problem have a check in the add notes to sentences box.
I looked for a global way to change the add notes to sentences for all
events and event definitions but I could not find one.

I want to send a chart or gedcom with my great- grand-fathers

only coming down to my dad, but each time I try I get my mothers side of
the family and even my husbands side of the family, so nearly my whole
family tree, I am using Legacy 9.
Can someone give me some instructions please?
Also How would I do his Ancestors back 3 generations please?
