I have been inactive on Legacy for 3 years but have found some relatives and decided to
up grade from Legacy 8 to Legacy 9 deluxe ,and also enter some DNA,I have paid $26.95.
I have downloaded the two files and have opened the PDF manual okay.
I think (I'm sure) I put legacy 8 customer number in by mistake when opening
legacy 9.
I had already made a shortcut on the desktop for Legacy 9 to keep it separate from
Legacy 8.
I renamed the Legacy 9 shortcut to make it stand out, but somehow I now have two
shortcuts for Legacy 9.
One shortcut opens legacy with a blank screen and showing the basic ribbon with New File
, Open file.
But I have been unable to open my family file, basically I have forgotten some of the
"legacy magic" that i used to know
I have located the Legacy 9 Customer No.
I hope I have not damaged my family file and that it can be recovered
I hope there is someone who can follow what I have done and help me fix it
