I appear to have .ged’s everywhere. When I do a windows key .ged I get 9 full pages of various record types – please excuse me if I am not using the correct terminology.
On these 9 pages I have the following: GED file Text documents Microsoft word documents Compressed (zipped) Folders Microsoft Excel Worksheets And some other odd “ things “ Most of these .ged’s do not appear in the list when you try File – Open but with File – import there are some there as well as some folders. That way you can check it out before and if you want to merge it with another Legacy file.
