Hi Kim, I discovered that if you do a Check/Repair under File Maintenance found in the File tab often, it will clear itself. I kept working on my tree this last time after getting the 527 message each time I backed up, for about a week, and the 527 message stopped popping up on it's own without me doing anything other than needing to do several Check/Repairs. Wish I can tell you why it happens. Gloria
