Rita,

It has been reported that Legacy works just fine on Windows 11. As you are
buying a new computer it should be compatible with Windows 11 but it is easy
enough to check. Go to Settings > Updates and Security and it may tell you
there right away. If not, then you can check on the Microsoft website.
Personally, as support for Windows 10 doesn't come to an end until 2025 I am in
no hurry to upgrade from Windows 10 Pro. I will let others iron the bugs out! 🙂

On that subject I understand that Windows 11 is going to be releasing updates
only every 6 months rather than every time you turn around like it does with
Windows 10 so that is good.

Bets regards
Kevin

Subject: [LegacyUG] Windows 11

I am thinking about getting a new computer and would like to know if Legacy
Family Tree 9.0 will run in Windows 11?

Thank you,
