I am having an issue trying to create a gedcom file. I have created several gedcoms in the past, but not for the last year.
My process: I open the export file and select gedcom 5.5.1. I then indicate all the records in the file. I then select the Enter file name and Start box. When the file name selection box opens, I then enter the name for the gedcom to be created in the selected directory. Now the interesting part. At this point I SAVE the file name and the selection box disappears. There is a brief, very brief pause, and the export screen closes. So far so good. However, the file is not being created. It is not in my indicated directory, nor can I find it anywhere on the drive. I am at a loss. I have tried several scenarios, I have checked the help and I have searched the previous emails. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Wes
