Crystal,
Where are the notes missing?
There are new options for Notes in Reports in Legacy 10 so go to the
Report, click the Report Options button and on the Include tab in the
Event section click the Event Options button and check the Note options
carefully.

Crystal,
If you look at your main person/head of household, do you see the
notes? I've taken a look at my file, and my notes show up with the
primary individual (head of household), yet if I click on others that
share this census event, such as his children, the "*Notes (specific
to this person's role)* is blank, but if you look above the line in
the *Edit the role of XYZ in the individual event of ABC *box, you
will see *Description: *which contains the date, place, and notes.
There is underlined text that states _Edit the original event shared
from ABC ...._

Hi Linda in Iowa, I just finally had a chance to check what you
ask me about checking the block in the edit screen at the bottom
of the edit screen and yes, it is checked. Any other thoughts?
Thank you for your help. I haven't received any suggestions from
anyone else.

When in the edit screen of an event (census in your case),
have you clicked on the little itty bitty box that says "add
the event notes with the sentence"? It's right below the
section where you entered the detail.s

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
I documented a census in the "event/fact page" in this
case the 1860 census but I don't think that matters in
this case. I always document the head of the house with
the details that show up for the entire household in the
notes section. Then I share it with each person noted in
the census. After selecting the persons, I am sharing
with I see the graphic showing that I shared the info,
however, the notes are gone when I look back at the
details once I have completed the notes. Not only do they
not show up with the people I share with they also don't
show up with the head of household. I have walked the
process through the help file and do not see where I
messed up. Can someone give me some ideas to check for? I
am using Windows 11 and Legacy 10. I have
successfully done this in the past without any issues.
