[LegacyUG] GEDCOM files

I am having a problem creating GEDCOM files and attaching reports to files..
Can someone send me the step by step procedure to create a GEDCOM file which
I can send as an attachment to an e-mail letter?  Also, what are the steps
necessary to send an Ahnentafel report, or any other report, via email?
