What you are probably seeing is the FTW icon for GEDCOM files (looks like a
little sapling with a canvass bag around the roots). This does not affect
the nature of the Legacy GEDCOM... the icon just like to attach itself to
any file with a .ged extension.

Jim,
I followed the instructions, everything seemed to be working, until...
When I attached the family file I had tagged and saved in c/legacy/data, it
showed up as a Family Tree Maker file. I used FTM 4.0 before switching to
Legacy. Did I miss something when I converted to Legacy? What next?
Thanks,
Deb
