I haven't done this, but this is what I would do if I had 3 Legacy family
files that I wanted to combine:  First make backups of all 3 files.  Then
into the largest one choose "File"  and then "Import" and name one of the
other family files.  Then ditto for the other smaller file.  Then run
"Merge".
Let us know how it goes, I might want to know before I try it.  Importing a
Gedcom file from each of the two smaller ones should also be a way.
