Kathi,

Choosing to display different items in the family view screen is all you are
doing - you're displaying them.  This does not affect any other area of the
program.  All the data entry forms will be the same.  It is customizable
from the family view screen so you can display what to view.  Yes, the cause
of death is only available from the medical notes.
