I checked that by changing back to the Legacy defaults; I ran a test by
typing up all the alt characters from 0150 to 0200 in an event and about
half are being mis-read with another character being substituted: � for �, �
for �, � for �, etc. I did the same test in PAF and all the characters
displayed and printed correctly.
It does not matter if I have 'keep what I type' set or not. I am using a
standard American English keyboard.
