William - I just did a test and was able to get the search and replace to
make the changes for me. In "Find Where" select "Notes-Events." Then for
"Find What" put in the erroneous symbol, using your alt+number keys. In the
"Replacement Text" put the correct symbol. The Alt+Number keys WILL put
these symbols into the search parameters. Then check other options as
appropriate and run the search and replace. This worked well for me.
I would, however, suggest that you make a backup of your dataset before you
do this (just in case). Let me know how this works out for you.
