Anyway. Yes, I agree with the need for some flexibility here. I have
a number of people who seem to have died (or even been born) in at
sea. And a few who were born in near Podunk ... my wife once asked me
where "Near Podunk" is (it wasn't really Podunk, I just don't recall
what it was).
On a related subject (one that might be better followed up on the
Talk list?), I find the use of the "of" convention exceedingly
irritating (especially when someone is listed as being born "in of
Podunk". As time permits, I am changing all such locations to "[of]
Podunk" so at least it reads "in [of] Podunk". Even so ...
For a while, I was pulling those entries out and sticking them into
the Residence event, but it just got to be too much.
How do other people handle this, or does it not bother you?
