It worked for me. Logged onto DAR website. Entered 3 Revolutionary War
ancesters and got email response with reference codes as follows:
"Thank you for your interest in DAR's Patriot Lookup Service. Your request
will be researched and you will receive an answer via email. If at anytime

Previous Request' or 'Send a Follow-up Message' on the right column of the
DAR Patriot Lookup Page and enter your reference code (******).
