Frode - thanks for publishing the solution on the list - I was having
the same problem - I tried your solution and it worked for me also.

(And still waiting for Legacy to get back to me about the solution :(

Anyway - for others - I use Windows XP, P4 - with lots of RAM -

I renamed the offending file. Deleted Legacy 4.0 from my system and the
folder, rebooted my system - reloaded Legacy 4.0 and it works great.

Thanks again - Kay

Myron,

I had the same error (400) on one of my computers, running Windows 2000
Professional.

Here's what I found out after testing various things (this is the short
version; the full story has been submitted to Legacy Support):

I had the wrong version of the file "VSOCX6.OCX". In Win2000 it's
located in
the "C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32" folder. For Win98 I think it might be in the
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM" folder (I don't have a Win98 computer here at home,
so
I'm not sure).

The solution was to delete that file, and then reinstall Legacy 4.0.

Sine I don't know your "expert" level on computers: Please don't do this
if
you feel you're not up to it. Get someone to help you. Anyway, good
luck!

Regards

Frode Reiersol, Oslo, Norway
