Hi,

This question is general rather than specific to Legacy; hope you all don't
mind. I've just been given 4 generations of info on a long-lost branch of
the family tree (yay!); everyone in this branch is descended from one
couple; one person gave me all the info, most of it is his personal
knowledge rather than records. My question is, what is the proper and
accepted way to document these events--does every birth, marriage, death,
occupation entry need to note this source X, or can I just note for the
ancestral couple that all info about them and their descendants is source
X? (I know that I *can* do whatever I want, but since I'm going to be
sharing info with other relatives and I'm entering it anyways, I'd just as
soon do it properly!).

Thanks for any feedback!
