Kay!
To clarify: You hav I: Assigned an event with one single master source with etc.
II: You have added a date for that event, using the same master
source, the difference
ind the "source detail. Printing in report the same Master
source twice
Conclution: You want one output for source.
Search and replace is one way - I don't know if that will work - it's complicated.
The second way is advanced sourcing - depending on what information you want to
source, this may work:
1. If you have a complicated source: Make a dummy person and import that to a new
Family file - to keep the
source.
2 In your family file: Go to Master List, Source; picked source, Make List; Tag every
one (3000) in list.
3. Deleate the Master source
4 Import the person with your source to the main file, and deleate the Dummy
5. Go to Tools/Advanced sourcing. Assigne source,(with source detail) to Tagged person
#
There are limited choises, may be you hit.
7: The hard way: Name List/Sources to the right - deleate the the source without
Detail.
And, have a backup-copy to work with, some of theese step is not reverseable.
