I am using Windows 98 SE and I have Legacy 4.0 Deluxe
6/28/02 upgrade and Access 2000 on my computer. My
latest Legacy family file was last worked on 7-06-2002. It will not
work because I get 3 error messages:
IDLR 3265, item not found in this collection;
3800: IDLR is not an index in this table.
IDLR 3022 error rebuilding indexes
I downloaded the Jet 4.0 Service Pack 6 and the MDAC 2.7
RTM from Microsoft as instructed in Legacy's Common Solutions, several times,
being more cautious each time that I had actually installed them.
I then did file maintenance and repair (all 3 items)
numerous times and I get the same error messages and have tried answering Yes or
No and done this several times. I still get the error
messages.
I tried to export both to a new Legacy file and to a
Legacy
Gedcom file, but the 7-6-02 file won't let me do
that. It won't let me do much of anything.
The Sample database works fine, also a 4-16-02 .dbf Legacy
file works fine. I also have .zip backups at several intervals from
4-16-02 thru 5-12-02.
I had rather get the 7-6-02 file working for although I
had not entered very much new data between 5-12-02 and 7-6-02, I had done quite
a bit of tedious repair work on locations, sources, etc (maybe that's what made
it go bad) with no backup after that work.
Any suggestions on how I might get the 7-6-02
repaired?
