Another opinion: I am still a beginner at genealogy and doing the research and compiling with a computer and I tried the free download from Ancestry.com. Was great for a first introduction because it was easy to use! But I wanted something"more" so I bought the TMG Silver Edition. I was so disappointed. Using it and reading the manual wasn't fun.It seemed liked you clicked yourself into a maze. I looked into other programs and decided Legacy was worth a try.
WOW. I love it. Fun and easy to use. Where I am at, this is the one! And from what I am reading about on this list, it looks like I won't "outgrow" it any too soon.
