Roxanne First close down your PC a little while, and see if that works.
Since you obviously cant't open from explorer do this: 1. Copy your DATA file in Legacy, and the usr.file. to another place. You save your data and your setting. 2. Remove Legacy from Add/Remove programmes. 3 Do a clean install of Legacy. I hope you have a copy in Download or the CD. 4. Copy the usr.file to the new install and say Yes to all. 5. Copy your DATA file to the new install. Hope this helps, it's some other things with Gedcom-Backup import. I have tried all of it, we are all newbies some time.
