Legacy 4.0 Deluxe Edition Users ======================== If you have Legacy 4.0 Deluxe Edition then start Legacy and click on the internet icon on the top toolbar. From the popup menu select "Check for Legacy Update" and then click the "Check Now" button (Note: You should connect to the internet before you click the Check Now button.) Legacy will check our web site and let you know there is a new build available and you can then click the "Install Now" button. This will automatically start the update process. Legacy 4.0 Standard Edition Users ========================= Standard Edition users are required to visit our web site in order to download the new update. http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate.asp Here is a list of changes for this new update. =========================== Added =========================== Resizing - Added new resizing capability to about 80 windows in Legacy that were a fixed size. Relationship Report - There is now an option to include (or exclude) RINs on names. (or User ID or AFN.) Relationship Report - There is now an option to print the names in Given name(s) Surname order or in Surname, Given name(s) order. Relationship Report - There is now an option to print this report to a .csv (comma-delimited) file format. Fam Group Sheets - Added a button to automatically add - [MRIN] to the end of the title. (Many people couldn't figure out how to do this.) Master Sources - There is now an option to default new master sources to Published or Unpublished. Family View - There is now an option to put a � at the end of the Husband/Wife label to indicate that the person has been excluded from potential problems reporting. Check/Repair - Added a new test to make sure a Child Record correctly links a child to their parents. Search - Refined the And/Or conditions of Detailed Searches =========================== Fixed =========================== User ID# - Options, Customize, Other, Clear All User ID's was not also clearing the values from the Alternate Name List. TempleReady - Submit button when Doing TempleReady was not also doing the Seal to Spouse work that needed to be done. Search - If three detailed search conditions are used and the second one is an OR the search was not using the correct logic. Events - Embedding [fields] into event fields was causing a lockup. We now do not allow [fields] in event fields (only in event sentence definitions). GEDCOM Export - Basic format export was including the Marriage Status Date even when the Status itself was not being included. Fixed. GEDCOM Export - File ID numbers and Recorded Date is now exported for master sources. Help File - Removed the Explorer window for now because all computer do not have the needed support files. Customize Family View - Fixed an error 9 situation. Fixed and error 9 on the Customize Family View screen. FGS HTML Output - Fixed some extraneous unconverted codes around the marriage info Pedigree Web Pages - Now use the "Marriage" word specified in the marriage record for each couple. Chronology View - Certain Regional Settings were causing the Chron. View to be blank. Fixed. Name List Report - Fixed metric conversion for column widths and page margins Name List - Fixed a problem of names being trimmed if they have trailing spaces which then caused records to be saved posibly to the wrong persons record. Individual Web Pages - Fixed a problem where the source link for a Marriage was showing as HTML code. Backup - License was showing as expired. Relationship Calculator - Fixed a problem with the way Half relations were done.
